Is 4th walling this character cool? Yes. Yes it is.

Jen and the (total absence of) the 4th wall:

♦ In the Marvel universe superheroes often license their lives to be made into comics by the Comics Code Authorities for a little bit of extra cash. These comics are factual right down to containing information they shouldn't be able to and are completely admissable as evidence in court for that exact reason. Jen is aware there are comics of her life; she gets royalties from most of them.

♦ Jen is also aware of (and has had dealings with several very strange) alternate/parallel/etc universes. Saying she exists only as a comic in your character's world isn't going to phase her. She'll probably be flattered your character's world chose to import her comics more than anything.

♦ Getting meta with Jen will (usually) result in a breakdown of the 4th wall. Your character is perfectly free to discuss the various writers who have helmed Jen's adventures over the years, who drew her best, etc and she will engage back with perfect awareness of what they're talking about and that her life has been at the whim of comicbook writers. She might even start talking about her "new gig in DWRP" and discussing the setting of the very thread from a meta perspective. The only exceptions are some serious subject matter she won't be willing to discuss candidly (the deaths of friends, her destruction of the town of Bone, Idaho and her marriage to John Jameson/Man-Wolf mainly). It's perfectly normal for your character to think she's crazy (and has happened in canon). If you're not okay with getting this meta let me know! In such a case I would strongly recommend your character doesn't discuss meta topics such as the staff at Marvel with her.

♦ Jen is completely comfortable with 4th walling, but please make sure to get the permission of any other Marvel characters before 4th walling them! My consent for Jen is not consent for other players! Jen will NOT disclose meta information about other Marvel characters outside of saying she guest starred in their comics/they guest starred in hers so please don't look to her as a way to ICly get information about another Marvel character.

♦ FOR MARVEL CHARACTERS Jen will not 4th wall them with the exception of Weezi, Howard the Duck and Deadpool (and I will always ask for permission first before doing so). This includes MCU. (For MCU players who are interested in Jen recognizing their characters contact me to let me know how you want it to go down, i.e. she thinks they're the characters she's familiar with, recognizies them as versions from an alternate universe, something else, etc.)

♦ Jen is not manga/anime/video game/tv show/most things you find in dwrp familiar so she will not 4th wall with meta information about other character's canons (exception being maybe big American cultural icons like Star Wars, Star Trek, ect she'll have some passing familiarity, but I won't include that information without player permission)

-Jen is the cousin of Bruce Banner (aka the incredible Hulk)
-Jen received a blood transfusion from Bruce and can now also turn into an hulk (known as She-Hulk)

→Moderately comics familiar

-Jen, unlike her cousin, keeps her intelligence when hulked out
-She's been an on and off member of the Avengers
-She's a lawyer
-She's slept with the Juggernaut and Tony Stark
-She's sometimes called Shulkie for short

-She filled in for Ben Grimm in the Fantastic Four when he took a year off
-In the early 90s she had a series called the Sensational She-Hulk where she constantly broke the fourth wall, solved problems with meta information and genre savviness and fought a bunch of ridiculous golden age villains (ex. Spragg the Living Hill, Stilt Man, etc names here being exactly what they say on the tin). This was started/written by John Byrne.
-Dan Slott retconned her sleeping with the Juggernaut by making it an alternate universe Jen who did the deed :(
-She's slept with Hercules
-During Civil War Tony Stark neutralized the gamma radiation in her blood forcing her to remain in her human form to keep her from murdering him for shooting Bruce Banner into space; she took him to court
-Jen is often used to round out ensembles and has been part of many, many teams such as the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire, SHIELD and the Hulk family
-She was married to John Jameson, son of J Jonah Jameson (yes the guy always trying to smear Spider-man in the papers was her father-in-law); they've since divorced
-Her strength is exponential meaning there is no known limit to it
